Hey bloggers!
I'm back with something that I don't usually blog about...
Last week my class did a long write.
Check it out.
She had found it lying alone, deserted, abandoned in the attic. After making the discovery, Anna had gazed and marvelled at it for some time. Where had it come from? Why had no dust settled upon it, as it had done over everything else that resided in her attic? A layer of the thick dust blanketed the attic floor, and as the sunlight glared through the attic windows, the dust particles yet to settle were illuminated as they danced in the stuffy air. Yet, the mirror looked flawless, untouched by age, not a finger print in sight.
Anna propped the mirror up against one of the thick, timber beams that jutted from the attic floor. Settling down into a comfortable position, she tentatively placed a finger against the glass…
As she touched the the glass, it rippled as if it was water. ‘Huh? What the?’ She thought as she touched the mirror again. She touched the mirror again. it felt like, well, glass. This time she didn’t just touch it, she stuck her whole arm through it. It felt as if she had stuck her whole arm into water, but when she dragged her arm back out, her arm wasn't wet. ‘How weird’ she thought. She touched the glass one more time. Then she got up, went backwards until she was right in front of some boxes of old stuff and looked at her watch. 3:13 pm. Suddenly, she dived into the ‘magic mirror’.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!” She screamed as she fell. She was falling from a sky. She was gaining speed. Suddenly, she felt happy. She’d never done Skydiving, parachuting, bungee jumping or, as a matter of fact, anything. She hadn’t even gone on on a plane before! But her happiness didn’t last long because she passed out as she hit the ground.
“Huh? Where am I? Who am I?” She stood there in the darkness. She was scared, but she could tell she wasn’t alone. She had a bad feeling. Out of nowhere, two, no, four, no, six blood red eyes stared out at her from the darkness… Suddenly, the ground started pounding. Then she saw a...devil. The devil had blood red scales covering his body, a sharp arrow or spear like tail and wings that look too big for his body.
I'm still working on this so you may want to come check it out sometime again. This peace of writing is in between the start and the middle ( well, more towards the start than the middle).
Oh, and go ahead and go to Mia's blog at http://ymsmiay.blogspot.com/.
Anyway, bye!
