Hey Bloggers!
We are about to start our learning on speeches in Rimu. When I heard this I felt anxious and worried because last year I didn't do so well (yeah, I'm one of those people that have stagefright)....
Before we get into all the deep learning and creating, we had a task to do to train our brain. In order to set up our mindset for speeches, we used the six tools in the Mental Toughness toolkit to create a motivational drawing of ourselves (though I didn't do one of myself, because that's just me I guess). We used google drawings and my DLO is below, a visualisation of me (not) during my speeches learning. MY dream for how it will all go....
While I was creating this drawing I wondered if these were actually going to help me. The hardest/s part for me during speech is going to be presenting and maybe the writing. The easiest part is going to be listening to everyone else's speeches. I choose these tips for myself because I will most likely need some motivation.
Have you ever written and presented a speech before?
Are there any tips that you could give me?
Why would you choose those tips?
If you are writing a comment on this blog, you could use these sentence starters:
POSITIVE - The part that stood out was....
THOUGHTFUL - You taught me....
HELPFUL - Make sure you....
Anyway,
thanks for reading.
Bye!
